Cool Stuff Through the Grapevine.....

Got this in my inbox and had to share. Apparently, Trace Adkins' band teamed up with Jason Crabb to help a woman in need....  (Julie's the one in the middle with the pink shirt. Jason is next to her on the left and her husband is on her right)

Monday night September 19, GRAMMY® AWARD-WINNING vocalist JASON CRABB enlisted the help of TRACE ADKINS' Band to help out a Gallatin, TN woman named JULIE CLINE. Julie was diagnosed recently with Encephalitis, a brain infection. She went to bed one night and woke up the next morning extremely sick. Medical costs are mounting and since Jason Crabb is a friend of the family, he teamed with his brother Adam Crabb and decided to hold a benefit concert. Trace Adkins band volunteered their time to make the concert extra special!

Over $10,000 was raised during the benefit concert held at Station Camp High School in Gallatin, TN. Donations may be made to any Fifth Third Bank under the name Julie Cline.

So, How did Trace Adkins band find out about Jason Crabb and know his songs?
Several months ago, Jason met the members of the band and they told him how they listened to his CD all the time on the bus, and that if he EVER needed them for anything they would love to play for him. They told Jason they were big "Jason Crabb Fans!" So Jason gave his band the night off and invited Trace's band to play with him. The band volunteered their time to give back to the community.
