Random Covers- Taylor Swift does Pink, TLC

Taylor Swift has been doing some pretty random covers on her latest tour... here is a little bit of her latest, thanks to TheBoot:

Check the link above for the full story. I gotta say, I love when artists cross genres like that and do things their fans might not expect. I love that she picked those two songs in particular this time around, cause they are two of my all time favorites. What do you guys think? Did you like the covers? Is there a song you'd like to see Taylor (or another artist) try her hand at? Comment back and let me know! Til next time...

Coverage

As you probably know from my earlier post, I was busy browsing the country news site The Boot today. I was pleasently surprised to come across this post. It's Little Big Town doing a cover of Adele's "Rolling in the Deep". As you might have seen, I am a huge fan of Adele and the song, and I think they did it justice. Enjoy and please feel free to share your own thoughts about the song!

By the way... if you look just below the video, you will see they have done quite a few other cover videos including a Lady Gaga one and a Bruno Mars cover. I just love when genres collide... :)

On the Lighter Side...

One of my favorite ways to start the day is to take some tea and sit down to read some news sites and blogs. I enjoy getting to read up about what's going on in music and in the world and occasionally get a good laugh in. Today, I couldn't help but smile as I read "Boot Spurs". I have to say... I have been waiting for an apology for "Acky Breaky Heart" for years. Well done, guys :) Now, how about getting radio to atone for beating "Need You Now" to death?

Martina McBride Not a 'Hero'?

I may have mentioned this before, but I'm a big fan of Guitar Hero. I love to play that and SingStar all the time. When the World Tour version of Guitar Hero came out, I couldn't want to get my hands on the drum set- unfortunately, I didn't do too well on that one. Got booed off the stage so fast my head was spinning. Apparently, I'm not alone...
