Pink

So, I'm sitting here and thinking over some things to write while I listen to Pink's concert special from her Funhouse tour. I really love this special. From the originals to her cover songs, it's perfection and so much fun to watch. I think a huge part of that is the fact that she and her band look like they're having such a great time. When an artist is completely emgrossed in and completely enjoying what they do, you can't go wrong.
If I had to pick some favorites, I would have to go for 1) The cover of "Bohemion Rhapsody" by Queen. It's an incredible song and I was amazed that they were able to do it such justice. 2) I really liked her performance of "Funhouse". It was so much fun to watch and a great representation of the video as well. I would say more, but I have to limit the list a little right? :)



Stay tuned because I will be posting other thoughts on concert DVDs/Specials here and there from different genres. Before I go, I wanted to let you know that I have been very busy lately. Taylor Update....

Hey, everyone. Wow, it's been a long time! I'm sorry I haven't been able to update this blog like I used to, but life has gotten in the way a lot in the past few months. I'm doing what I can to get back into the groove. I thought i would stop in and let y'all know what Taylor Swift has recorded a cover song that is available on Rhapsody called "American Girl". Check it out and let me know how it is.

Speaking of covers... did y'all see that crossroads with Def Leppard? If not, head out to Wal Mart and get the DVD. It was a great performance and the DVD features several extended interviews and three songs that were not on the original airing.
